  3. NotePad Deluxe is a fast, small and powerful tool, intended to be used as a multi-purpose notepad.

  8. NPD has an hierarchic structure. There are three different levels: the database, topics and notes.
  9.  
  10. The database is the file in which all the notes are saved. It's mostly handy to use only one database. It's however more practical to use multiple databases in some circumstances, for instance if there is more than one user of the same computer.

  12. Each database holds a number of topics. Each topic holds a couple of notes.
